Abit Introduces GeForce 4 with revolutionary cooling system
Abit has unveiled a new revolutionary graphic cards cooling system, called OTES, in Munich. The first graphics card with OTES technology is the abit Siluro GF4 Ti4200. “OTES” here stands for outside thermal exhaust system and was developed by abit and patented.
At the heart of the graphics card is the new GeForce 4 Ti 4200 chip made by nVidia. The temperature of the chip by up to 15% is reduced by the cooling system OTES included. Abit thus increasing overall performance, over clock capability and stability according to their statements. All OTES cards occupy two slots due to the construction forum and are equipped with a fan which rotates with 7200 revolutions per minute and neat row can provide so that in the worst case. The cooler itself is made from copper and operates according to the heat pipe principle.
Prices of the card, which is also with video-in offer, has not yet called abit.
