AMD loses in the stagnant graphics card market
The third quarter left a mixed picture at many companies, including among those who are active in the graphics business. AMD could not continue after a previously successful year in the third quarter of the series and lost up 2.7 percent market share compared to the second quarter.
With the decline of formerly 25.0 to 22.3 percent, market share is still ahead of the big competitors NVIDIA AMD. This could expand its market share compared to the second quarter and sell more video cards. Now, instead of 20.7%, NVIDIA according to Jon Peddie research holds 21.2 percent.
