Motherboards with AMD 8xx chipset
Just in time for the launch of AMD 890GX-Chipsatzes, the usual suspects present the first generation of motherboards with AMD’s new flagship to the chipset fleet. For almost everything that we can today count “Good form” will get it.
Noticeably the trend not’s next strong towards the USB and serial-ATA version 3.0 and so surprise also that a large part of the newly introduced boards already have the new high speed connections. Especially ASRock advertises with the “true 333″ logo for support of SATA III, eSATA and USB 3.0. The latter is implemented but using appropriate additional chips, since the chipsets from the 800cc family of House from only USB version 2.0 control. In addition the mainboards provide official support X already for AMD’s six-core processor Phenom II 6 “Thuban”. The MSI stands out in particular through its six PCI Express x 16 slots 890FX-GD70.
