MSN Explorer 6.1 is coming soon
According to ActiveWin, Microsoft the MSN Explorer 6.1 will publish in a few weeks. Morning ActiveWin had even a link to the beta version on the page, but Microsoft has responded quickly and ActiveWin very quickly prompted the to remove (still working) link.
New features in MSN Explorer 6.1 will be among others:
- Integrated media player
- The E-Mail client can display now 50 mails per page.
- The E-Mail client has advanced editing features. Including a spell checker if you Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, installed Microsoft Office or works.
- You can now use the MSN Internet access, and you can still use his Hotmail email account.
- Local news, weather, and news from the city can now be displayed in a Pop-Up window.
- The my stuff bar can now be hidden.
- MSN Explorer can greet now one with the first name, instead of only using the MSN/Hotmail/Passport user name.
