nVidia in the dispute with Microsoft?
Microsoft recently invited the 3D-Grafikchiphersteller to talk with them to determine the new DirectX9 features. The manufacturer should sign a declaration of consent with which they pledged to disclose any details on DirectX 9, and to accept that not all the details on DirectX 9 Microsoft learn.
Now the rumor going around that nVidia has refused to sign this Declaration and as a result was excluded from Microsoft from the talks. Although or because of the two companies closely because of the X-box, the relationship seems just currently not very bright look. So, Microsoft was probably also not very positive mood, as nVidia still royalties for the vertex and pixel shader technology of them wanted to have once Microsoft had implemented them in Directx8.0. An opinion of the two companies, if correct, these rumors there so far are still not.
